Actually for lunch yesterday at the Pig’s Ear in Chelsea, London, Courage Directors Bitter from the cask, along with a rich game pie with a genuinely excellent golden pastry crust. For a brand that’s been batted around like a corporate shuttlecock for the last 25 years, it was pleasingly malty and authentic.
