lunch with the Mosel Junger, a group of young, savvy and innovative Mosel producers. Of the many interesting and individualistic wines, my standout was made by Marcus Berres, of Weingut C.H.Berres, his IMULSE Riesling QBA 2009. It’s a quintessential Mosel Riesling, all crisp green apples, beautiful fruit harmoniously integrated with the bracing minerality, and it really came into is own with the superb lunch.
