Alas, he did not save me a sip!! However, I have been graced by seeing his evolution as a winemaker, and think his wines will truly stand the test of time! When will someone take up the baton of the 1976 tasting that shocked the world (with Chards & Cabs) and do so for American Pinots vs. Burgundies?!?!
